Cypress oil has an anti-inflammatory effect on varicose veins increasing blood flow. Mix 2–3 drops of Cypress oil with a 15ml of a carrier oil such as almond oil and massage into the affected area. This helps diminish the appearance of varicose veins over time.
Antibacterial and anti-microbial Cypress oil kills acne-causing bacteria. Its astringent properties also clarify oily skin, without dehydrating it.
Blend 3–5 drops with a carrier oil such as Rosehip oil and use it on spots when they appear or as an overall treatment after cleansing. Be sure to avoid your eyes.
Cypress oil removes toxins and impurities from the skin and shrinks pores, toning the face. Regularly using Cypress oil diluted with a carrier oil will reveal new cells and give your skin a healthy glow.
For firm, toned skin, create a facial massage blend using:
- 4 drops Cypress oil
- 2 drops Lemon oil
- 2 drops Geranium oil
- 2 drops Lavender oil
- 15ml Rosehip oil
