Here are 9 Ways to Use Our Organic Peppermint Essential Oil

1) Stomach Pain/Menstrual Cramps

Peppermint oil has anti-inflammatory and anti-spasmodic effects. Massaging a few drops into your abdomen will help relieve pain, reduce bloating, and combat spasms that cause cramps.

2) Bloating and Indigestion

Add 1 drop of organic peppermint oil to your water before meals. Massage several drops on your abdomen. Inhaling peppermint oil helps curbing the appetite by triggering a sense of fullness.

3) Colds/Congestion

Massage 2-3 drops peppermint oil mixed with 1 tablespoon olive oil/carrier oil onto chest or drop into a humidifier to help clear sinus and lung congestion.

4) Get rid of Ticks

Use 1 drop on the tick and wait for a few minutes. The tick will either back out or fall off easily.

5) Stress Reliever

For stress relief, the combination of 5 drops peppermint, 10 drops lavender, 5 drops of frankincense added to a warm bath help relieve stiffness while absorbed through the skin.

6) Ants Buster

Leave a peppermint soaked cotton ball in their pathway to get rid of ants. Your home will smell fresher.

7) Headaches

Mix 10-12 drops peppermint oil in 30 ml almond oil and rub on the back of your neck will help subdue headache pressure. Avoid eye contact.

8) Reduce Fever

It is an excellent natural treatment to bring down a fever especially in children. Simply mix 5-8 drops peppermint oil with a tablespoon of coconut oil and rub it on a child’s neck and on the bottoms of their feet to help stabilize a fever instead of using aspirin or other drugs.

9) Relieve Joint and Muscle Pain

When your joints get achy, applying 3-5 drops pure peppermint oil mixed with 5 drops of lavender oil can cool muscles like an ice bath, but helps you stay warm and dry.
