Our Organic Peppermint Essential oil is a versatile oil with a wide variety of uses as it does more than just give you a fresher breath! It can also be used to relieve stomach pains, clear congestion as well as relax your muscles. Do take note that Peppermint Essential Oil is more intense and has a stronger concentration than other essential oils. Though it is generally safe to apply topically; some methods to use it requires dilution with carrier oils such as olive oil or almond oil. Do take care when applying the essential oil on sensitive skin and is highly advised not to be used on young children.
Here are 9 Ways to Use Our Organic Peppermint Essential Oil
1) Stomach Pain/Menstrual Cramps
Peppermint oil has anti-inflammatory and anti-spasmodic effects. Massaging a few drops into your abdomen will help relieve pain,reduce bloating, and combat spasms that cause cramps.
2) Bloating and Indigestion
Add 1 drop of organic peppermint oil to your water before meals. Massage several drops on your abdomen. Inhaling peppermint oil helps curbing the appetite by triggering a sense of fullness.
3) Colds/Congestion
Massage 2-3 drops peppermint oil mixed with 1 tablespoon olive oil/carrier oil onto chest or drop into a humidifier to help clear sinus and lung congestion.
4) Get rid of Ticks
Use 1 drop on the tick and wait for a few minutes. The tick will either back out or fall off easily.
5) Stress Reliever
For stress relief, the combination of 5 drops peppermint, 10 drops lavender, 5 drops of frankincense added to a warm bath help relieve stiffness while absorbed through the skin.

When your joints get achy, applying 3-5 drops pure peppermint oil mixed with 5 drops of lavender oil can cool muscles like an ice bath, but helps you stay warm and dry.
