To treat this, Cedarwood oil has been shown has shown to stimulate significant hair growth when applied as a daily scalp massage of Cedarwood, ThymeRosemary, and Lavender essential oils, mixed with a carrier oil, such as olive or almond oil. Everyone’s hair and scalp also benefits from regular massage with a few drops of Cedarwood oil in a carrier oil. 

    Dandruff
    To create an antifungal, moisturising blend for annoying dandruff, mix: 

    • 5–8 drops Cedarwood oil  
    • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

    Massage the mixture into your scalp for 5 minutes. For even better results, leave the oil on your scalp for 30 minutes before washing it out. 

    Acne and blemishes
    Use Cedarwood oil as a spot treatment on pimples, blackheads, or whiteheads. Dilute 3–4 drops in a carrier oil, apply it on the spot using a swab or cotton ball and leave it on for 10–15 minutes before rinsing. You can also add 2–3 drops of Cedarwood oil to witch-hazel and use it as a toner to brighten your skin.
